BioBackground: Light Yagami found a small black notebook on his way home from high school one afternoon. The notebook proclaimed itself to be a 'Death Note' and that everyone who's name was written in it would die (by default, of a heart attack). After testing it carefully a couple of times, Light decided that he should continue using this notebook to rid the world of bad people. He immediately started writing in the names of murderers. It took a toll on his mind, but he pushed forward. He had decided to use this notebook to create a new world, one full of kind people. He also decided that he would be the god of this new world.
Of course, the increasing number of criminal deaths due to sudden heart attacks had not gone entirely unnoticed, and soon an investigation team was put together to try and catch this odd new serial killer, dubbed "Kira" by the Japanese masses. A brilliant detective named only "L" headed up the investigation, and Light had to work hard to throw L off his trail (and later, to disprove L's suspicions that he is Kira). Along the way, he was approached by another person pretending to be Kira- this turned out to be Misa Amane, who had wanted to meet Kira and thank him or her for killing the murderer of her parents. Misa attached herself to Light pretty much immediately, and Light used her to accomplish his own goals.
Light was not pleased to find himself in Luceti without the Death Note, and with black wings placed onto his back. He'll be doing everything he can to fix this situation and get back home, so he can continue his mission.
Personality: Light is extremely smart, very observant, and excellent at determining what motivates people. He is also ruthless, cold, and detached. He will do anything he has to in order to achieve his ends. He has an extremely keen sense of law, both written and implied; he'll find a way to bend or re-interpret it if he needs to, but he will almost never outright break it. Of course, considering the rather odd nature of this place, there's not nearly as much in the way of law here. He may have to improvise.
Currently:
-Light hacks the given journals with an 96% effectiveness. And he does hack into what he can.
-Light's left eye is a milky grey, and is no longer operational.
